The excavator cab has two handles that control the left and right track’s speed, respectively.
If you need to turn left, let the right track move forward more than the left track. Or the right side forward and the left side remain still. You may also make the left side backward, the right side not move, or the left side backwards and the right forward.
Each excavator has a main hydraulic pump, which pushes the rotary hydraulic pump by sending oil. The rotary hydraulic pump drives the gearbox and rotation.
Levelling is the most basic operation skill for drivers. And it’s not something you can master with a set of theories; it requires a lot of practice. When levelling the ground, speed down, dig as slowly as you can and then scrape through the soil slowly with the tip of the shovel.
So how do you see if it’s levelled? If it feels high, scrape slowly; if it feels low, push a little soil with the tip of the bucket. This way, gradually, you will get a levelled surface.
FYI: the excavator must be stopped evenly and levelled; if it is working on a pile of soil, you must move the excavator left and right to make the bucket and the ground parallel.
